Then Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men”. They immediately left their nets and followed him; Mark 1:17, 18.

When Jesus extended the call, these men jumped to obey because helping people enter the kingdom of God was more compelling adventure and a grander vision than catching fish.
