I am the Alpha and the Omega says the Lord; who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. Rev 1:8.

Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. When God says that he is the Alpha and Omega, then it clearly means that in the history of the world he will have the first and the last word. He spoke in order to create the universe. The worlds were framed by the word of God (Hebrews 11:3).

And when time passes into eternity He will again speak; “It is done”. (Rev 21:6).
