I am glad that Jesus Himself knew all the burdens that any man will ever bear.
He knew the pinch of poverty.
He was born in a borrowed stable and was laid in a borrowed manger.
He was buried in a borrowed grave.
He had no money to pay taxes until Peter caught a fish with a coin in its mouth.
When He died, He had only a seamless garment that was valuable enough for anybody to covet.
Jesus was poor for our sake so that we, through Him, might be rich.
Ye that labor and are heavy laden, where are you? Come to the Savior today, tomorrow may be too late.
