Jesus Himself took our place on the cross.
Jesus was born from a woman’s womb as we were, learnt to walk and talk as we did, felt the pangs and sorrows and buffeting of daily life as we have all felt them, was tempted in all points as we are but without sin.
Jesus had good reason to know the heart of those who labor and are heavy laden, and He loves us all and bids us to come to Him for the rest nobody else can give.
